I am Marieke Herweijer (1993), an artist living in the Netherlands, born in Gouda. I have studied at the artacademy ArtEZ in Zwolle where I live these times. I prefer to work with several mediums like acrylic painture, oil and sometimes I just make some lines with a pencil.

Beside beiing a painter, I work as an entrepeneur in the culture and educational sector making new concepts and designing inspirational education-formats for several groups of people. I have done projects in bibliotheques, musea and higher vocational education and intermediate vocational education. With the iniative Spatiebalk I've done some emazing experiences as an entrepeneur with succesfull concepts, partnerships and glad customers and clients.

These days I prefer to focus on my own art and making workshops for individuals, artists (in spe) and create some inspirational blogs and teachings about grief on my blogsite 'Neverendingcollege' where I also share some lessons in personal-development on subjects I went through like losing a father in my twenties.

My dream is that by looking at my artwork, you're recognising this simple thruth: life is amazing, beautifull, happines and a wonder in itself. And everything, every feeling in a life-moment is worth it. To express, to embrace, to know. Deeply. That is my desire.
